Water used for cold recovery purposes is often extremely cold, falling between +4°C and +10°C. The water in outdoor ice swimming is even colder, commonly between +1°C and +4°C. This synthetically produced rubber material contains homogeneously spread closed air bubbles, which give the neoprene its thermal insulation and elastic qualities. The high-quality neoprene rubber is 2mm thick and covered with nylon jersey fabric on both sides, making it feel pleasant against the skin.
