Red Light Panels

In the ever-evolving landscape of health and wellness technology, red light therapy panels stand out as a beacon of innovation, offering a myriad of health benefits backed by scientific research. This non-invasive therapy harnesses the power of specific wavelengths of light to penetrate deep into the skin and tissues, promoting cellular repair, reducing inflammation, and enhancing overall wellness. Red light therapy panels emit light at wavelengths typically ranging from 630 to 670 nanometers (nm) for red light, and 810 to 850 nm for near-infrared light.

Anti Aging

A cold plunge and an ice bath both involve immersing the body in cold water to aid in recovery, but they differ primarily in temperature and setup. A cold plunge typically refers to fully submerging the body in water at temperatures ranging from 4°C to 10°C, often in a specialised cold plunge tub which is deeper allowing the vagus nerve on the back of the neck to be submerged. This is vital for releasing the stress hormone noradrenaline as well as endorphins lasting for up to 8 hours afterwards. They also tend to have a built in chiller and filtration system perfect for regular use and for a quick, invigorating dip.

Mitochondria

These specific wavelengths are absorbed by mitochondria, the powerhouse of the cell, stimulating a process known as photobiomodulation (PBM). PBM triggers the mitochondria to produce more adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy currency of the cell. This increase in ATP production enhances cellular metabolism, leading to faster repair and regeneration of damaged cells, reduced inflammation, and improved performance of healthy cells.

Sleep

Exposure to red light, especially in the evening, can signal to the body that it's time to start winding down, similar to the effect of a sunset. This can help increase the production of melatonin, the hormone responsible for sleep, making it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep throughout the night. Red light therapy has been shown to stimulate the pineal gland, enhancing the natural production of melatonin in the body. This increase in melatonin can lead to deeper, more restorative sleep, helping individuals wake up feeling more refreshed and alert.
