Why choose a Barrel Sauna?
Built with solid wood staves, the structural integrity of a barrel sauna withstands even the harshest outdoor environment. Barrel saunas naturally shed water and can handle a substantial snow load. The polymer support cradles let you put the barrel on any flat surface, and the Thermowood is naturally resistant to water and insects. The notched staves create a tight, secure fit that will last a lifetime without the excessive use of fasteners.
With less unused space (imagine a circle inside a square), the barrel design lets the heater do its job faster and more efficiently. In a square sauna, the heat gets trapped at the ceiling. In a barrel sauna, the heat is pushed back down the curved sides and into the sauna as new heat rises from the heater. Experience a traditional barrel sauna, where between your sauna rounds, you can enjoy a drink on the exterior terrace benches.
Roof shingles can provide several benefits to your outdoor sauna. Firstly, they protect the sauna and its occupants from rain, snow, and other weather conditions. This can help to extend the life of the sauna and make it more comfortable to use. They also improve insulation, helping to keep the interior of the sauna warm and reduce energy consumption. Finally roof shingles add visual appeal to an outdoor sauna, especially if they are chosen to match the overall design and aesthetic of the sauna and surrounding area.
Our barrel saunas are built with Thermowood which is 100% natural. Our wood material is certified Nordic Spruce which is sourced from Northern European forests and grown with sustainable practices. Thermally modified Nordic Spruce is an aesthetically pleasing wood that is significantly more durable than conventional timber. Roof shingles are also provided on the roof to protect the sauna and increase the insulation. Sit opposite another sauna bather with your back nicely cradled in the curvature of the sauna wall with enough room for your neck to remain straight.
The Evolve 10 is built entirely of premium-grade Hemlock. NO Plywood is ued in the construction of our saunas. Many brands will use a less expensive soft wood timber for the internal frame. Unlike Cedar which can cause respiratory irritation, Canadian Hemlock is the perfect choice for people who have sensitive skin or allergies and cannot tolerate aromatic oils, perfumes, shampoo or herbs. There are two options for heating for the saunas, including an electric heater and a wood burning stove. The Harvia Linear 18 Compact Wood burning stove, is the ideal blend of timeless elegance and modern design. Its large glass door creates an awe-inspiring atmosphere highlighting its magnificent flames. The unique form of the fire chamber provides cleaner, more efficient combustion that meets CE markings for environmental friendliness.
Harvia Cilindro Black Steel pillar heaters are ideal for a vast range of sauna requirements. Perfectly sized to provide an efficient and powerful saunatic experience, these stylish electric heaters offer flexibility in setup – easily embedded into your bench or elegantly displayed in front of the glass wall. Not only does this unique form factor work well with any sauna design, but its
glossy black stainless steel exterior is sure to make it a striking addition.
With an array of control options to choose from, Harvia Cilindro heaters make your sauna experience customisable. From mechanical controls that are traditional yet reliable, separate

Whether you'd like our help to install it for you, or do it yourself, the installation process is a relatively straight forward one. This allows our saunas accessibility even to the most difficult of places. We provide several instruction videos and manuals to ensure the whole thing runs smoothly from start to finish. Delivery prices depend on location. The barrel arrives unassembled, you will require either a a forklift or alternatively a 2 man team ready to hand ball each pallet off the delivery truck.
